Susan Hayward

FDR Mediation

Susan is a transplanted American, having lived in New Zealand for 35+ years. She trained as a barrister and solicitor at Auckland University and has practised law for 30 years. She is currently a barrister sole, sharing chambers with two other barristers. 

Susan’s practice is mostly as a Court-appointed lawyer for child and counsel to assist the Court. She has also done FDR mediations for the past several years. Prior to that, she also conducted mediations for the Family Court as counsel to assist the Court.
