Ava is a Mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Provider, Facilitator and Coach. She specialises in mediations where there is a need or desire for an ongoing relationship.

She is a NMAS and Resolution Institute accredited Mediator and Family Disputes Resolution Provider. Ava’s mediation experience includes family dispute resolution, education disputes, employment relationships, health and disability issues, new business relationships, and facilitation within a range of government and community sectors.

Ava provides professional supervision to other mediators for the Resolution Institute. She also assessors candidates for Resolution Institute who are applying to be a mediator or a Family Dispute Resolution Provider. She coaches people on mediation courses on mediation techniques.

Ava is an experienced relationship and communication coach. She helps people understand, manage, learn new skills and move on from conflict. Her coaching is informed by the latest research in neuroscience, conflict management and positive psychology.

She has extensive experience working with people with a disability or health condition. She established and managed a disability service in the education sector and worked nationally in equity and on inclusive practices within education.

Ava is a qualified social worker and originally practiced as a community social worker and counsellor, specialising in teenagers and their families.
